Pareos, a Tahitian word, usually use for wraparound, actually refer to the skirts of women only but like men who wear “maro”, a type of loincloth.
Pareos can be put in several ways surrounding the upper body and covers the area of breasts to knees. As of because it relies to the breasts so it is not slide down, sometimes it is also put in around the shoulders.
As Pareos worn as a long skirt, it is also worn by men but as a small skirt at the time of fishing, running, especially where freedom of legs necessary.
But as a long skirt it is most preferred on the beach. Terminates of Pareos are generally put in inside primed by abrasion only. Pareos is just knotted by ends, no magnets, pins are used to rely it.
When you feel loose then at once tight it or wrap again. If at the movement like dancing, running or at the time of heavy work, you can wear a belt on your waist to be safe. |
